Multiple Connections

  • Every time the configuration changes, each connection gets a new connection id (e.g. Connection_9) to ensure generic functionality. For example, for 3 connections they will have the ids Connection_1, Connection_2 and Connection_3 respectively.
  • Depending on the purchased version of the connector, up to 1, 3, 5 or 10 database connections can be created. These connections correspond to a datasource in the Configurator.
  • Every additional datasource defines another database.
  • If more datasources are defined than can be handled in the purchased version, the connector ignores all datasources defined above the limit. For example, if the version with 3 database connections has been purchased and 5 datasources have been defined, the connector only recognizes 3 of them.
